Allison stems from a small town just south of Richmond Virginia, Colonial Heights, where the aren’t many hotels and tourism isn’t big. She got a taste of hospitality when visiting Virginia Beach as a child and from there, the spark was lit.

She became obsessed with all things travel, tourism and most of the all the experience of how people feel.

From living in New York to Florida, she is a east coast girl to her core and often advocates for better opportunities and culture initiatives for Millennial Hoteliers all along the coast.

In her professional career she started with humble beginnings as a fine dining server and bartender at the Cavalier Resort in Virginia Beach. Where There she blew the roof off of their wine sales, leader to her manager to suggest she pursue a career in hotel sales. However, her obsession with the experience(s) of hospitality led her to Events— the banquet world. Just after 6 months in the banquet world, she became a Banquet Manager at one of the most prestigious country clubs in Virginia. Serving as not only their Banquet Manager but also their interim Director of Catering and Events, all at age 23. From there, she never forgot the advice of her former respected manager and with the birth of her first child during the peak of her career, she made the transition to Hotel Sales, where she received extensive criticism. Following her gut, she accepted a her current position as Group Sales Manager at the Delta Chesapeake with LTD Hospitality Group where she chose to continue her career because of their VP of Sales, Samantha Bean’s incredible culture initiatives.

From the things Allison had seen in her early career, she knew she wanted to make a position impact. From that mission, The Millennial Hotelier was born.
