Brett & Casey McManus are two skiers & bikers who were fortunate enough to catch the entrepreneurship bug in their early twenties. After gaining a few years of experience working in the real estate & hospitality industries, they found themselves driving past outdated motels all over New England thinking how cool it would be to bring one back to life. The couple wanted to create a space in a ski town that would cater to like-minded outdoor enthusiasts eventually landing on the perfect spot at the Happy Bear Motel here in Killington.

Prior to taking on the motel, Casey worked full time as a high-school science teacher while Brett worked in Marketing pursuing a passion for real-state on the side. They fell in love with the world of hospitality through 3 short-term rentals operated in the Finger Lakes of Western NY and knew they wanted to scale into a larger business.
