Founder/Managing Partner

Denise Dupré is Founder and Managing Partner of Champagne Hospitality, a boutique hotel design and development company with properties in the Champagne and Burgundy regions of France, and in St. Barthelemy, in the Caribbean. Through Couture Harvest, the company also maintains a portfolio of vineyards, which are pioneering organic and biodynamic viticulture, and innovative techniques like under the sea aging, and experimental gold and titanium barrels, producing award winning wines, including the La Revue de Vin de France’s “Wine of the Year.”

Her luxury hotel collection and vineyards are the result of decades of hospitality industry expertise. Prior to launching Champagne Hospitality, Denise built a comprehensive understanding of the industry working at a leading hotel management consultancy and a top ad agency where she focused on hospitality. She also gained on-the-job hospitality experience in marketing, client service, financial analysis, and operations for public and private companies. She has shared her passion for hospitality and shaped generations of industry leaders as an educator at the world’s leading hospitality schools including Cornell and Boston University, and in a graduate program at Harvard University.

Condé Nast has recognized the Royal Champagne as the Best Resort in France and has named Le Barthélemy the Best Resort in the Caribbean repeatedly, and both hotels have been ranked among the Best Resorts in the World. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, the Le 25Bis hotel sits at a privileged location on the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, surrounded by vineyards.

Denise holds a Master of Hospitality Management degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College. A lifelong proponent of education, Denise has served as a trustee for Dartmouth College, the Noble and Greenough School, the Charles River School, the Harvard Business School Board of Dean’s Advisors, Teach for All and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She is also the former chair of the board of the Mercersburg Academy and the Fessenden School.
