Multi-hyphenate of many mediums, Kainoa Horcajo seeks to find aloha and meaning across all he does, bridging and bringing together people and possibilities. A respected Hawaiian cultural consultant, practitioner, and community leader, through his firm Mo'olelo Group, Kainoa focuses on sharing and building cultural competency in organizations by applying traditional narratives and indigenous philosophies in ways that resonate with today’s audiences. As a sought-after public speaker, Kainoa has been praised by CEOs, cultural elders, and industry leaders for his eye-opening and moving speeches that draw connections between the modern business world and Indigenous wisdom. Utilizing an oft-mind-bending blend of pop culture references and traditional stories, he artfully simplifies the complex and reveals the commonalities within us all.
Venturing into showbiz, he co-created the Emmy award-winning show SEARCH Hawaii, and if you’re flying on Hawaiian Airlines can watch the comedy series Moku Moku. Kainoa and his sister Olena, along with their father and rest of the family own Mahina Farms Maui, growing food and other crops to feed their family and the community along with creating unique and immersive cultural experiences and farm tours in ‘Īao Valley.
He currently serves as President of Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce and a board Director at Kipuka Olowalu and PBS Hawaii Community Advisory Board surrounded by and learning from amazing people.
