With over 20 years of marketing and nightlife experience and a resume that resembles a ‘best of’ list of some of the biggest brands in the hospitality and entertainment industries, Ronn Nicolli is a veteran in his craft. The Youngstown, Ohio native moved to Las Vegas as a bright-eyed and eager twenty-something, never intending to stay in the area for long. But with evident skills and the ability to quickly adapt in his field, the marketing professional grew rapidly in his career, leaving a major mark on the city’s nightlife scene and quickly climbing the ranks. Among his extensive experience, he has been recognized by Observer on their Power List of the Most Influential People in Hospitality, Las Vegas Weekly’s C-Suite Honors and VEGAS INC’s 40 Under 40.
In February of 2020, Nicolli took the position of Vice President of Marketing for Zouk Group, which was part of the core leadership team that launched the Zouk Group in the Las Vegas market at Resort World Las Vegas. In February 2022, Nicolli was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer and currently plays a fundamental role in promoting the Strip’s first resort development in over a decade, Resorts World Las Vegas. Nicolli leads the brand marketing division, overseeing development and implementation of the resort’s advertising, digital, social media, creative, public relations and sponsorship strategies. In this time, Nicolli was the Lead Producer for the resort’s “Rule the World” campaign that launched June 2023. This widely successful campaign garnered three platinum AVA Digital Awards in three categories including Production for a Commercial Ad Campaign, Video Production for a Travel Commercial and Digital Marketing for an Integrated Ad Campaign.
Nicolli’s journey in Las Vegas began as a promoter at Wynn Las Vegas in 2005, where he quickly learned the ropes and transitioned to a promotions manager role the following year. By 2011, he was Executive Director of Marketing for the Wynn Nightlife, managing the property’s marketing team and directing all digital marketing projects, before being promoted to Senior Executive Director of Nightlife Marketing in 2016. In this position, Nicolli developed strategic placements for billboards, magazines, online banners and more, overseeing all advertising and media opportunities and directing elements of marketing for the nightlife division’s celebrity talent. During his tenure at Wynn Las Vegas, Nicolli made a monumental impact on the resort’s entertainment programs, helped launch their out of market event series, and provided the vision and guidance for some of the city’s most notable nightlife venues including Intrigue Nightclub and XS Nightclub.
In 2018, Nicolli brought his expertise to another Vegas property, serving as Senior Vice President of Creative Strategy for Palms Casino Resort where he co-led the nightlife division, overseeing talent, integrated property marketing and public relations for the department during its $620 million renovation. During his time at Palms, he led creative concept meetings and established communication plans to connect all departments, developing a cohesive and welcoming brand for customers.
Notably, Nicolli sits on the board of the Discovery Children’s Museum and is passionate about supporting the Las Vegas community. He also sits on the Super Bowl LVIII Host Committee and finds immense pride in being able to contribute efforts to such a historical event for Southern Nevada. In addition to these formal commitments, Nicolli remains dedicated to mentoring young professionals in the hospitality and nightlife industry, as he contributes to building the next generation of leadership in Las Vegas.
Nicolli loves the ever-evolving nature of hospitality, nightlife and how he’s constantly challenged to produce out-of-the-box ideas. Inspired by his late mentor and former long-time industry executive Scott Menke, he looks to follow in his footsteps and bring a sense of accomplishment, pride and joy to his career and each of his endeavors. Nicolli is committed to his family values, happily married and a father to two daughters.
